This project began as a list.

Titles written in notebooks—phrases, fragments, names for works that did not yet exist. They were meant to lead somewhere: a series, a poem, an exhibition, a project that would eventually give them a body. Most of them never did.

Rather than abandoning them, I decided to treat the titles themselves as material. Over time, it became clear that they were not unfinished ideas but complete gestures, small acts of attention. 

Each collage pairs an image with one of those titles. The image does not illustrate the text, nor does the text explain the image. They coexist, sometimes in alignment, sometimes in tension. Meaning emerges in the space between them.

These collages are not conclusions. They are pauses. Scraps and bits of ideas that never became what they were supposed to be. They are assembled here—not as an archive of failures, but as a collection of beginnings that chose a different form.
